CARBON FIBER

Our Carbon Fiber Options

Litespeed Racing offers real carbon fiber wheels and carbon fiber overlays, giving high-speed racers the freedom to customize their wheels for maximum performance, weight savings, and a sleek, race-ready look.

Carbon Fiber

We offer all of our wheel designs with carbon fiber and forged centers, combining lightweight performance with exceptional strength. This allows drivers to fully customize their rim and determine the level of weight savings on any wheel design.

Carbon Fiber Overlay

Litespeed Racing provides all of our wheel designs with the option for a carbon fiber overlay, delivering the sleek look of carbon rims without the cost of full carbon fiber wheels. This allows drivers to enjoy a high-end aesthetic while retaining the strength and durability of their existing forged centers or metal wheels.

What are carbon fiber wheels & overlay?

Carbon fiber wheels are lightweight, strong, and ideal for high-speed performance, offering significant weight savings over aluminum or magnesium wheels. Made by layering carbon strands in a resin matrix, and then curing it under heat and pressure, they improve handling, acceleration, and braking on the track. Litespeed Racing leads in producing real carbon fiber wheels for OEM and aftermarket applications.

A carbon fiber overlay is a cosmetic layer applied to a metal wheel like forged aluminum, giving the look of carbon fiber wheels while allowing you to use a different metal for the wheel structure. Unlike true carbon fiber wheels, overlays don’t enhance performance but offer a way to mimic carbon fiber rims on different wheel materials.

Advantages of

Carbon Fiber Wheels

  • Enhanced Weight Savings: Carbon fiber wheels are significantly lighter than aluminum wheels or mag wheels, reducing unsprung weight for improved acceleration, braking, and high-speed handling on the track.

  • Durability & Strength: Made using an advanced manufacturing process, carbon fiber rims offer superior rigidity and impact resistance, outperforming OEM wheels and forged aluminum alternatives.

  • Aesthetic Appeal:  A carbon fiber overlay or a full carbon fiber wheel provides a sleek look on any of our existing wheel designs.

  • Improved Performance: The reduced unsprung weight of a CF rim and lighter tires makes everyday driving smoother, improves fuel economy, and enhances responsiveness for a faster and more enjoyable ride.
